I have written articles for magazines, published books on the subject of using scripts to automate applications, and often contribute to user groups on the web.Īs I look back at over 30 years of experience I know my greatest sense of accomplishment is in helping students hone their skills and go on to fulfill their dreams. I have been invited to speak at seminars, participate as a leader in user work groups, and conduct side-sessions for user conferences. As the information age shifted from print to web and mobile devices, I added cross-publishing and User Experience (UX) with emphasis on ePub. From there I have worked on specific projects such as catalog and book production. From 1997 to 2007 I worked for a software development company, traveling extensively teaching automation techniques and programming for the newspaper industry. ![]() ![]() As fate would have it, I became an early-adopter for using computers in the graphic arts and printing industry, and ended up teaching in the industry rather than in the classroom. My goal as a young student was to become a teacher.
